Welcome to Fabia’s analog photography.

My name is Fabia, and since 2021, I have called NYC my home, having moved from Switzerland.

If you were to ask my friends and family about me, they would all tell you about my passion for traveling. Thanks to my current job in the tourism industry and my curiosity for new cultures and adventures, I find myself constantly on the road, with my camera. Those fleeting seconds I spend focusing on what is in front of me, adjusting the shutter speed and aperture, focusing on my subject - those are the moments I cherish the most. And it's those moments that I want to share with you.

Being so intimately connected to these moments and sometimes even living them, I've encountered experiences, places, and people that have touched me and shown me different angles of life, both in positive and negative ways. I am aware of how privileged I am to travel to different countries, meeting new people and share their lives with you.

My love for photography dates back to my teenage years when I would spend hours editing pictures I had taken and creating photobooks. My passion for analog photography started with using Kodak disposable cameras on trips with friends or nights out. The long wait until my pictures were developed and the great feeling of seeing the outcome turned into one of my hobbies. In 2019, I embarked on a journey with my first analog camera in Colombia, and ever since, I have brought my camera on every trip or wandered around my home towns.

Today, I still shoot with my Canon AE-1 camera, using Kodak Portra film, which I love. My work ranges from nature to photography.  I'm always eager to hear your feedback and open to any photography requests.
